Also, if you book a two day trek to Velangolla Falls, it will be a wonderful trip.  This is because Yahangala can be seen in different shapes and sizes in different parts of the fall.  Determining which wild elephants are most important when deciding to camp in the fall.  There is also plenty of water at the top of the fall and 3 waterfalls of 10 and 5 meters each.  It would be more valuable if it was possible to travel without harming the beauty of the environment.

 From Udadumbara, pass Kalugala and approach the village of Udailuka.  However, in order to cross the Velangolla Falls, one has to go to Medagama Place from the end of the tar road and travel about 7 km through the Mana forest.  Before leaving the area, it is advisable to ask a local resident about the presence of wild elephants.

 Remember, according to the Forest Department, no trail has been installed to climb Yahangala.
